The mission of KeloNews is to provide the United States audience with high-quality, real-time news and fact-based reporting. We aim to cut through the noise of trending social media topics by delivering “Real Fact Check” updates that readers can rely on for their daily information.
2. Commitment to Accuracy
Accuracy is our highest priority.
Verification: Every story published on KeloNews undergoes a multi-step verification process. We do not publish rumors or unverified social media claims without clear labeling as “Developing” or “Unconfirmed.”
Primary Sources: Whenever possible, our writers are required to cite primary sources, such as official government documents, direct interviews, and original data sets.
Fact-Checking: Our dedicated fact-checking team reviews trending stories to debunk misinformation before it spreads.
3. Independence and Impartiality
KeloNews is a non-partisan news organization.
Objectivity: Our reporters must maintain a neutral tone. We report the “who, what, where, when, and why” without favoring any political party, corporation, or interest group.
Conflict of Interest: Our staff is prohibited from accepting payment, gifts, or favors from the subjects of their reporting. Any potential conflict of interest must be disclosed to the Editor-in-Chief immediately.

Zero Tolerance for Plagiarism: All content on KeloNews.com must be original. We do not tolerate “copy-pasting” from other news outlets.
Attribution: If we reference reporting done by another news organization, we provide clear credit and a backlink to the original source.
5. AI Transparency Policy (2025 Standards)
In the interest of transparency, KeloNews may use Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools to assist in data sorting or headline drafting. however:
Human Oversight: Every article is reviewed, edited and fact-checked by a human editor before publication.
Fact-Check Guarantee: AI-generated content is never published without human verification of the facts contained within.
6. Sourcing & Sensitive Information
Anonymous Sources: We avoid using anonymous sources unless the information is vital to the public interest and the source faces a genuine threat to their safety or livelihood.
Privacy: We respect the privacy of individuals who are not public figures, especially in sensitive legal or medical stories.

We acknowledge that news moves fast, and mistakes can happen.
